NTPC celebrates 52nd raising day at Eastern Region-I headquarters in Patna

Patna, Nov 7 (UNI) NTPC Eastern Region-I Headquarters in Patna celebrated the 52nd Raising Day of the power major on Saturday with patriotic fervour, marking the occasion with a flag-hoisting ceremony, a ceremonial parade and a series of commemorative events.
Wilson Abraham, General Manager (HR), unfurled the NTPC flag at the headquarters premises. Addressing the gathering, Abraham extended his greetings to the NTPC fraternity and highlighted the organisation's journey, achievements and growth over the years.
He also acknowledged the significant contributions of projects and power stations under Eastern Region-I towards NTPC's overall performance and progress.
A major highlight of the programme was the live webcast of an address by NTPC Chairman and Managing Director Gurdeep Singh from the Engineering Office Complex in Noida. Officers, employees and their family members at the Patna headquarters watched the address.
In his address, Singh outlined NTPC's growth trajectory, major achievements and recent initiatives. He appreciated the dedication and commitment of employees, acknowledging their role in the organisation's continued progress. He also stressed the importance of collective efforts in adopting emerging technologies and fostering innovation to meet future challenges.
Among those present at the celebrations were Arupam Biswas, Additional General Manager (TS); Sanjeev Kumar Bharti, Additional General Manager (PEM), Vishwanath Chandan, Deputy General Manager (Corporate Communications), besides a large number of officers, employees and their family members.
